• Frame Wipe Down, clear cable gear guides from debris 

• Frame & Fork Safety inspection

• Check Seatpost & quill stem are not past maximum height

• Check headset for free movement and wear, adjust as required

• Safety Inspection of wheel rims for damage, dents, cracks, wear

• Check for loose spokes (On Bike)  

• Check wheel bearing wear/play

• Remove quick release skewers clean and lightly lubricate 

• Drivetrain: Measure chain and sprocket wear

• Drivetrain Clean and Lubricate (On Bike)

• Check cassette and freehub

• Check Indexing of Gears

• Check Brake operation - signs of uneven braking & stiff function

• Inspect Brake and Gear inner and outer cables

• Inspect rim brake blocks & disc pads for wear and alignment

• Check brake rotor thickness . (Minimum 1.5mm) 

• Hydraulic braking - Inspect system for leaks

• Check Bottom bracket for play/wear

• Check correct Torque settings: cranks, pedals, steering, Etc….. 

• Lubricate: calipers, derailleurs, levers, seatpost quick release

• Inspect tyres and inflate to correct pressures

• Road test 

• Make a final report with any recommendations and advice.
